Is Journal of Molecular Biology and Biochemistry a predatory Journal?
Recently I came across a paper on molecular studies on two plant species published in "European Journal of Molecular Biology and Biochemistry". In this paper I found several basic mistakes, including in the citation of reference. The justification and conclusion of the work was also not up to the level of acceptance. The author claims that the worked out two species are similar in morphology which is not at all true in science. It is like that a person found a new evidence to prove that the earth is spherical not flattened. Will any journal accept such evidence for publication today?.
Although I communicated the queries and comments to the editor for clarifications, I did not receive any reply. Today in the modern digital world, each and every manuscript is published within 24 Hrs just for the business sake. But for any query the editorial board does not reply at all. Even after making some reminders, I could not receive any valid reply for my queries, I have posted the same in blog spot.
